Summary: Our day started with a prompt pick up at the posada we were staying at in Colonia, followed by a lovely drive-through, the Carmelo area countryside to El Legato winery. Andres, our guide knew a ton about Uruguayan history and culture and culture and did a great job of sharing that with us. The wine tasting and Osato at the winery were lovely as were the three brothers and mother who run El Legato. All in all a great side trip from Buenos Aires!
